The U.S. Respiratory business within our company is a growing part of our Company. The
Associate Director U.S. Marketing, Pulmonologist & IDN Strategy, Respiratory BU will play a strategic role in supporting the continued commercial success of our newly acquired COPD asset.
This role is responsible for contributing to the development and implementation of our U.S. HCP Strategy, specifically with the Pulmonologist & IDN customers, and the execution of both field sales and omnichannel campaigns. This role is responsible for aligning with the Customer Agile Team to develop strategic marketing plans that drive pulmonologist engagement, IDN partnership development, and adoption of the respiratory Brand in support of overall business objectives. This role requires a strong understanding of the specialty care landscape, integrated delivery networks, healthcare system dynamics, and modern precision, and digital-marketing approaches to effectively influence clinical decision-making and care pathways across Respiratory conditions.
This position will be based in Upper Gwynedd, PA and will report into the Director, U.S. Marketing HCP Strategy.
Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: - Develop and execute Pulmonologist and IDN marketing strategies: Partner with cross-functional teams to build comprehensive strategies and campaigns tailored to pulmonologists, IDN stakeholders, and healthcare systems. Focus on driving disease education, product utilization, and care pathway optimization across priority accounts.
- Customer research and insights: Define research objectives and analyze customer, market, and competitive insights specific to pulmonology and health system environments. Translate insights into actionable strategies that strengthen engagement and identify opportunities within IDNs and key specialty networks.
- Digital marketing: Collaborate with marketing, digital engagement, and agile teams to design and implement digital strategies that reach pulmonologists and IDN decision-makers through channels such as targeted digital media, email, personalized content, and omnichannel engagement tools.
- Collaboration with internal stakeholders: Work closely with sales, medical affairs, market research, analytics, access and reimbursement, and digital teams to ensure strategic alignment and customer-centric execution. Serve as job owner for promotional content and partner with promotion review teams to secure guidance and approval.
- Collaboration with agencies and external partners: Engage agencies and strategic partners to develop insights, refine messaging, test concepts, and execute high-quality campaigns and resources that support pulmonologist and IDN engagement.
- Budget management: Manage elements of the marketing budget to ensure resources are allocated effectively to maximize impact across both specialty and health system channels.
- Performance tracking and analytics: Monitor performance of pulmonologist and IDN-focused initiatives using relevant data and metrics. Identify opportunities to refine targeting, messaging, and channel mix to improve engagement and ROI.
- Compliance and regulatory guidelines: Ensure all strategies, content, and activities are compliant with regulatory, legal, and company standards, and uphold all requirements for promotional materials and customer engagement.
- As a member of the US Respiratory marketing team and cross-functional leadership team, partner with fellow colleagues to invest in each other's development, build a culture of inclusivity, psychological safety, transparency and stretch our collective team's thinking by challenging the status quo for the purpose of creating stronger outcomes.
Education: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent (BA/BS). MBA or equivalent preferred.
Requirements: - Minimum of 5 years of progressive pharmaceutical or biotechnology experience across marketing, sales and market access (or related experiences).
- Previous Brand marketing experience.
- Strong understanding of the pulmonology landscape, IDNs, health system dynamics, and specialty care decision-making processes.
- Proven experience developing and executing strategic marketing plans that target specialty HCPs and/or health system stakeholders.
- Familiarity with precision marketing, omnichannel engagement, and digital strategies that support HCP and system-level activation.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret customer insights, market trends, and performance data to shape strategy.
- Ability to partner effectively across cross-functional teams including sales, medical, market access, analytics, and digital engagement.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex information into clear, actionable recommendations.
- Demonstrated ability to lead agency partners and manage multiple external stakeholders.
- Strong project management skills with experience operating in agile or matrixed environments.
- Understanding of compliance, regulatory, and promotional review requirements for HCP marketing in the pharmaceutical industry.
Preferred Skills: - Previous respiratory marketing experience.
- Understanding of US commercial and regulatory requirements and promotional review.
- Demonstrated ability to create solutions that drive value for our customers, incorporating innovative approaches where relevant.
- Product launch and/or launch planning experience.
- Familiarity with an agile working model.
Location: Upper Gwynedd, PA - Hybrid working model.
Travel: Requires approximately 25% travel, including some weekends.

The salary range for this role is
$142,400.00 - $224,100.00
This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee's position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, government requirements, and business or organizational needs.
The successful candidate will be eligible for annual bonus and long-term incentive, if applicable.
