Job Description

School RN - Topsham, Maine Mondays & Thursdays 7:15 to 2:30 Interim HealthCare- Maine is seeking a compassionate and dedicated School Nurse to provide high-quality nursing care to students in Topsham, ME. The ideal candidate will support the health and well-being of students by delivering timely medical assistance, managing chronic conditions, and promoting a safe and healthy school environment. Responsibilities

Provide first aid and emergency care to students and staff as needed.
Assess and manage acute and chronic health conditions in a school setting.
Maintain accurate health records and documentation in compliance with state regulations.
Develop and implement individualized healthcare plans for students with special needs.
Collaborate with parents, teachers, and healthcare providers to support student health.
Promote health education and wellness initiatives within the school community.
Ensure compliance with school health policies and state regulations.

Requirements

Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Maine.
Previous experience in pediatric or school nursing preferred.
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
CPR and First Aid certification required.
