Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA)

Salary - $140,000-$150,000

Location: Cincinnati, Ohio
Organization: Market‑Leading Skilled Nursing & Long‑Term Care Provider

A highly respected and rapidly growing Long‑Term Care organization is seeking an experienced Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) to lead the daily operations of a skilled nursing facility in Cincinnati, Ohio. This provider operates nearly 100 healthcare facilities across seven states in the Northeast and Midwest, offering exceptional stability, strong operational support, and meaningful opportunities for advancement.

The facility is a 100‑bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation center , serving adults and geriatric residents with a full continuum of clinical services, including wound care, memory care, respiratory support, IV therapy, diagnostics, and pain management.

Role Overview

The Administrator is responsible for the overall leadership and operational performance of the facility, ensuring compliance with all state, federal, and company standards. This leader will drive quality outcomes, resident satisfaction, financial performance, and team engagement while upholding the organization’s mission and values.

Key Requirements

  • Active LNHA license in Ohio (or eligibility to transfer licensure).
  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare management or a related field.
  • Demonstrated success managing facility operations, including financial performance, census growth, and occupancy improvement .
  • Strong understanding of the physical, cognitive, and psychosocial needs of elderly residents.
  • Proven experience in staff leadership , including training, coaching, and performance management across clinical and operational teams.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and reinforce corporate values and care standards .
  • Experience ensuring adequate staffing levels through proactive recruitment and retention strategies.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Ohio state regulations , as well as federal and local requirements governing long‑term care.
